As the financial year draws to a close, East London Business Place (ELBP) is pleased to announce a fresh programme of events for the Building Legacies programme, its business support project for small, medium and micro enterprises based in east London.
Since the official launch of Building Legacies in July 2016, the team has been busy hosting training sessions, workshops, networking events and providing 1-2-1 support and specialist consultancy for London’s growing SME community. We’ve hosted dozens of sessions on topics ranging from procurement to PR strategy to policy writing with plenty more due to take place in the coming months, along with published insights from leading industry experts.
We recently kicked off Spring with an exclusive Networking Event hosted at the Marriott Hotel in Canary Wharf. The event provided SMMEs and Social Enterprises from the care, construction and digital/creative industries with the opportunity to connect and share knowledge and best practice. Big thanks to everyone who attended on the night, especially our speakers, Heath from List of Life, Lee from Oakleafe and Yejide from Logic to Create. If you were unable to attend this time, be sure to keep an eye on our events page, which is regularly updated with new opportunities to meet buyers, suppliers and industry peers across a range of sectors.
In the coming months, we will be organising further training seminars and workshops which will enable you to further develop key skills and boost the capacity and competitiveness of your business. We will also be posting ‘This Week in Business’ insight updates and regular blogs which will be published here.
All our forthcoming seminars and workshops are provided completely free of charge and will (between April and June) be hosted at either the Barking Enterprise Centre or the Good Hotel London. As always, places are allocated on a first come first serve basis, so please book your space early to avoid disappointment.
The launch of this new financial year brings both exciting opportunities and fresh challenges, and the tailored support on offer from Building Legacies will provide you with the all the tools you need to navigate any ‘unfamiliar terrain’. If you have any questions or would like further information about the range of support on offer, please contact Danny on email@example.com or call the office on 020 7537 6480
